Of all the things an artwork can communicate, to me the most profound is this: to be alive, in this present moment, is enough.
I am an art and design critic, artist, educator, and architect with roots in Southern California and New York City. Since 2010, I have helped hundreds of people deepen their appreciation of visual art.
My work as an art advisor is informed by my experience teaching at institutions like Princeton, UC Berkeley, Barnard, and Parsons School of Design, as well as my involvement in projects with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Venice Biennale, The Frick Collection, and independent galleries in New York. Through these experiences, I’ve cultivated a strong understanding of both the creative and logistical aspects of art, as well as longstanding contacts within the international art world.
In addition to my advisory work, my essays and criticism have been featured in publications like the Montecito Journal, LUM Art Magazine, Dispatches Magazine, Pidgin, and the New York Review of Architecture. This breadth of experience allows me to provide clients with a rich, informed perspective on both contemporary and historical art.
Whether you’re an experienced collector or just beginning, I’m committed to helping you discover works that align with your personal and aesthetic values, while also ensuring seamless integration into your space.
